Shanley Hotel EVP: I Used to Be Here

We would like to thank Ami and Ken for sharing their EVPs from the Shanley Hotel

“This is an EVP that we took while we were sleeping at the
Shanley Hotel on August 23rd 2009. We shortened the clip because the other 4 hours was mostly unrecognizable noises. However, at the beginning of this clip we hear a pretty recognizable “I used to be here.” Further down the clip you will hear 3 instances of what sounds like train whistles. Sounds like an old steam train whistle to us. They are pretty low and we heard them better with headphones on. The first part you will hear right away when you play the clip, the whistles you will hear at around 1 min 14 secs, 1 min 18 secs and 1 min 51 seconds. I know the train doesn’t run by there today.
