Founder/Webmaster/Writer/Researcher
The Hudson Valley is rich in history, especially haunted history. As founder of this site, my vision is to provide visitors with information that will feed their obsession with the supernatural. This site will share the rich history of local haunts of the Hudson Valley.
I welcome contributions that will make this site the premier destination for haunted travelers who wish to explore the historic haunts of Hudson Valley folklore. We have all heard stories at some point in our lives that may have left an impression. I for one have had two experiences in my lifetime. One was a creepy childhood experience, the other a sad and unbelievable experience. To this day I don’t know what I believe, but I know what I heard and I know what I saw. I will be brave enough to share that experience with you on this site.
Are we crazy? I think not.
So, let’s see where this goes. It could get SCARY!

I have always felt some kind of connection with something a bit paranormal. I spent my childhood with an untapped psychic ability (which I sadly lost as I got older) and in my twenties I had a few interesting experiences that made me intrigued. It wasn’t until after an ex-boyfriend died tragically that I became a true believer. A series of events occurred one day a few months later that left me with the unwavering opinion that it was him coming to tell me that he was ok. Soon after I received a letter from his mother describing an event that had left her with the exact same feeling. It was from that moment I knew that there can be someone else with us, especially when we don’t know it.
But no matter what I experience, see, hear, and feel I will always be a bit of a skeptic, and I think that it is this thirst for the absolute truth that really helps in my investigations. I am always looking for a real life explanation. Was that light a reflection? Is the wind making the building creak? As our minds can easily play tricks on us, we must look for a viable explanation before we start yelling “GHOST!” But honest explanations play a secondary role as well, they keep me from getting too creeped out!
